A-Class Draperies and Interiors Ltd. has been established since 1997. The Managing Director and Principal, Janie Cox has been blazing a trail with her singular and profound achievements and contributions to the industry. She is the first person in the Caribbean to hold the two certifications from the Window Covering Association of America (WCAA).
In 2002 she founded the first workroom association in Trinidad and Tobago named First Association for Bright Interior Coverings (FABrIC). Fabric was geared towards educating business owners and customers about the importance of adhering to the industry standards and to promote growth through education and networking. In 2006 she started the first chapter of WCCA in the Caribbean where she has been a catalyst for growth and excellence as she encourages other members to pursue their passion in spite of the challenges. In her capacity as President she has been instrumental in bring respect and awareness to this often misunderstood profession.   
As a leader in the field of window treatments and interior design she is also the only certified color instructor for the Dewey Color System in the Caribbean. In keeping with her professional outlook Ms. Cox is aligned to other professional trade associations like Window Fashions Certified Professional (WFCP) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  Her articles have been published in "Draperies and Window Covering magazine" as well as in the WCAA Newsletter- the Cover Story.
Having worked for twenty-two years as Electrical and Computer Engineer she has been able to marry science and art to produce one-of-a-kind training programs.  Presently she is a participant in the National Training Agency's (NTA) TVET Registry and also serves as Internal Verifier for the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) in Home Furnishings.
According to Ms. Cox it is not about time- everyone on the planet has twenty-four hours in a day. It is about purpose, focus and what you are willing to invest in your success. Your destiny is predestined and gives birth to your dreams so you need to seek God to reveal his plan for your life. Next you have to stay focus on your dream and overcome any roadblocks to realizing your goals.  She explains that there is a cost to achieve your goals but often the cost of not achieving them is far greater.
